Cooking Classes Rooted in the Heart of the Finger Lakes
Each season we offer several culinary experiences that enhance your visit to the Finger Lakes. Private classes in Chef Samantha's home where you will learn and discover the beauty of the ingredients grown and locally sourced right here in the Finger lakes. During these 3 hour classes we will prepare, demonstrate and enjoy a three course meal. Expand your mind and palate as you indulge in the wonders of the Finger Lakes. Sample classes: January-Discovering the power of spice, February-Power Foods to Nourish the Soul and March is a Taste of Spring.

The Chef's Table
Each month on the lunch menu Executive Chef Angelina Tagliavento along with Chef/Owner Samantha Buyskes create a new tasting menu that explores a unique herb or seasoning style that has been specifically chosen to complement Simply Red's use of free-range, grass-fed meats and fresh vegetables harvested here in the Finger Lakes region. This year's spice routes bring international flavors to our lakeshores. Enjoy the adventure.
Simply Red Events at the Highland Lodge
Enjoy memorable retreats and events in our one of a kind homelike private atmosphere nestled on over 50 acres in the heart of the Finger Lakes. Groups may gather to learn, work or celebrate together inside, comfortably and undisturbed.
Weddings, receptions and other small and large private events are now welcome at The Highland Lodge with expanded outdoor event space. We are now a full service event center with Catering hosted by Simply Red Events and Culinary Center.
